Deal Estate Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Deal Estate (the "Service"), a mobile card game operated by Zondo Studios ("we", "us", or "our"), an independent Australian software studio, available as an app for iOS and Android.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Deal Estate. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You can use Deal Estate as a Guest, without providing any personal information, or sign in with your Apple or Google account. Signing in with Apple or Google lets you keep your history and stats if you reinstall the app or switch devices; a Guest can link an Apple or Google account later and keep their existing history.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, and you agree to:

• Provide accurate information where you choose to provide it (for example, your display name)
• Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation
• Not share access to your account with any third party

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Deal Estate is a property-dealing card game with original mechanics and card names. The Service lets you:

• Play offline against an AI opponent
• Play online in real-time ranked multiplayer matches
• Track your match history, win/loss record, and rating on a global leaderboard, calculated using the Glicko-2 rating system
• Add friends and send friend requests to other players

Deal Estate is currently free to use, with no in-app purchases and no advertising. The global leaderboard and ranking system are cosmetic only. There is no wagering, no real-money prizes, and no gambling mechanic of any kind in the Service.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe on the rights of any third party
• Transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or ranked matchmaking
• Use cheats, bots, scripts, or exploits to gain an unfair advantage in ranked play
• Abuse the friends or matchmaking systems, including to harass, spam, or impersonate other players
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players through in-game social features

You retain ownership of the profile and gameplay data associated with your account. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and other players (for example, showing your username and stats to opponents and friends).

Deal Estate is provided as a native app for iOS and Android under these Terms. If you enable push notifications, we may send you alerts about turn changes and match activity. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of progress.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot be excluded under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zondo Studios from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the app's Settings screen. Upon deletion, your account and associated data are permanently removed in line with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where practicable, notify you in-app.

Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Deal Estate is operated by Zondo Studios from Australia and is available to users worldwide. These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, and the courts of South Australia have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from your use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes, or modifies any non-excludable consumer-protection right available to you under the laws of your country of residence (for example, the Australian Consumer Law, the EU/UK consumer-rights regime, or US state-specific consumer statutes). Where a provision of these Terms conflicts with such a non-excludable right, that right prevails.
